Money sent to blocked account

Hi,

I sold something through ebay at the weekend and the person has sent the money. But they have sent it to my account which was blocked by paypal as it was hacked a while ago. I regained access and changed the password but the account has still be blocked. 

is there any way of getting the money from the blocked account or is it now lost forever?

You need to contact your buyer(s) and ask them to see what it says in their paypal accounts either:
1. Pending / Unclaimed with a cancel option.
2. Pending / Unclaimed.
3 Completed.

If its:
Pending / Unclaimed with a cancel option.

Ask them to cancel the payment but tell them that it will take a few days to go back to their funding source. If and how they pay you again would be between the 2 of you to sort out.

Pending / Unclaimed.

If there is no cancel option then the buyer will get their money back automatically 30 days after paying.
If and how they pay you again would be between the 2 of you to sort out.

Completed.

If its completed then come back for more advice.
