Lysol scam

Has anyone other than myself been victim to a recent scammer selling Lysol products on a Facebook ad ?? They were really good prices and it’s been so hard to find the products during this pandemic! They offered free shipping with a 50$ purchase and since it was PayPal I automatically thought it was safe, was I wRong! I was given a FAKE tracking number of a package that was shipped weeks before my transaction and delivered the day of my purchase!! I immediately contacted the seller and PayPal and of course have gotten NO response from the seller! Any ideas as to what I should do next?? I started a dispute.. but it’s waiting on the seller..??

Chinese Web Sites or on Social Media ads easy to spot (once you know the below signs) so buyer beware.

1. No return address on the returns policy............thats because the site will look as if its in your country (where they despatch goods from) BUT they will ask for returns to go back to China (returns depot) at a shipping cost nearly always more than the item is worth.
2. No contact telephone number............if you click on contact the most you will get is webmail or an email address.
3. No company address information.
4. Great looking items at bargain prices that turn out to be tat.

Escalate the dispute when you can to a claim and make sure you have put in all the information re tracking etc (I hope you opened one for non receipt of item)? If you lose because the seller provided tracking then come back on how to appeal as paypals disputes are mostly automated.

Also you may still have the option to do a charge back if you funded your paypal payment via a credit card.

Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Good morning, this has happen to me also. My mom called everyone and td them about this "Lysol so call company." We tried to have our money reversed the same day and couldn't. The tracking number given stated the products were delivered the day before the order. This is really horrible! I spent $52.49 with this fraudulent scam person. Now I have to wait 7 days, to escalate my dispute. I have been using PayPal for year with the understanding they are the most secure way to make a payment to someone. I guess I was wrong. I'll have to wait out my 7 days to file amount complaint. It's sad you have to do all of this to get your money back.

Hi , same with me and when I opened a claim they said it had a tracking number .I copied the number and went to USPS to track it and it said it was delivered the next day , It was not . did Pay Pal ever refund your money , My bank would not stop payment because they said Pay Pal was secure . I thin k Pay Pal Needs to have a case brought against them for knowing that this guy is doing this to people using their so called secure site

I ordered Lysol from a website that is now defunct, back in November.  I started a case to refund my money a couple days ago.  The company all of sudden the next day said it was delivered and included tracking number.  I went to the USPS and their GPS tracking along with a picture showed that it was an Amazon package (I did not order through Amazon) also, the name and address was a completely different. The only thing that was the same was our city.  I'm now waiting for resolution but frustrated because I can't add the GPS picture of the box with the bogus tracking number.

Cleankler.com Is a huge scam. Do not purchase from them! I purchased my Lysol products from them August 1 and the next day they said delivered and charged my account $63.90. I never received any products and I cannot contact them. Do not order from them!

Open up a resolution ticket with PayPal. It will take some time but your money will be refunded. I'm just waiting on my refund to be sent back to my bank account. I hate that it's some low down people in this world! I hope this helps you, just have a little patience and it will work out.
