I bought an expensive pair of trainers from someone on Depop, he insisted that depop transactions don't work for him and that f and f on PayPal was the only way to do it. after I did loads of checks and got all the verification i thought I needed, tagged pictures, references etc. I transferred the guy the money who looked like he owned some sort of shoe company. anyway I get blocked a day later and the guy doesn't reply to me. 270 pounds down the drain. is there anyway through friends and family that I can get this money back and whats the best way to handle it with PayPal. I have emailed them already and im pretty sure this is just a very costly mistake that I will have to learn from but wondered if anyone has had similar problems.
