Item received is counterfeit product

Hi can anyone help me with this problem. I ordered an item and they used a picture of the legitimate item in the advertisement and presented the company as if it were a reputable retailer of the name brand; however, after the payment was made the shipping information was sent from a company in China and the item received was a knock off. I've filed a dispute with PayPal, at first tried to work with the seller but they insisted that they were selling the "real deal" but I know better. At the time I escalated to the resolution center, I had not received the item. Now I have received it and what I suspected is true, the item is fake. I'm not sure how to proceed now. Any advice?

Are you saying that my post isn't allowed on this page? I'm new to posting on this and I'm unaware of posting rules for questions. However, this isn't the first time I've been duped by a company from China. The other time they did something very similar however, the tracking number was totally fake and went to a different company's item that was shipped to my town but not my address. I was able to track it down that far. The item I ordered was a remote control wand from the Harry Potter series. Tracking number provided was sent from China and then it transferred to a US number. The US number was from a herbal supply company in Georgia and they shipped their vitamins to a lady in my town. So they literally hijacked a tracking number. Pay pal simply looked at the town, saw the item was received in my town, and assumed it came to me when it did not. No item was ever received. I had to go to the postal service to get them to track the number I was given. They gave me the details.
