It is not canceled even though I am in the pending state.

I have a contract with the seller as below,

but he never sends me any sales and shipping information.

The company appears to be a ghost company.

So, even if I try to cancel this transaction in my paypal account,

it is not canceled even though I am in the pending state.

And I have no contact with this seller, so I can't cancel it myself.

What should i do?

Hello @poulsbo20 , I hope you're doing fine.

Since this an authorization, only the merchant can cancel the transaction. I understand you cannot contact him and another way is to wait for the authorization to expire so that it will be cancelled automatically and money will be posted back to your original funding source. I know it's a long time but I can guarantee you that after 30 days,paypal's system will automatically forward it to your bank, where you have to wait for another 3-5 banking days for it to show up there. It will take that long but assuring you that your money will be refunded back as long as the merchant did not accepted the money. And if you found out that the merchant accepted the money and you still did not receive your order, you can file a dispute with paypal.
