Recently I paid for an online purchase through Paypal. It was shipped from China. I did not get what I ordered.. but I did receive a worthless item instead. I opened a dispute and Paypal said I would get a $26.00 refund if I returned the item at my cost... to CHINA. Well it would cost $27 to return the item. Has anyone else found Paypal's dispute resolution illusory (e.g. have to pay more to return the item than the refund would be)?
This seems entirely unfair because the entire issue was cause by the VENDOR.. I did not contribute nor was I at fault at all.
As such I am NOT going to use Paypal in the future for online purposes... I will instead use my credit cards which I can dispute payment with.
