I changed my account type from personal to business after I filed an LLC for my company to separate it from my personal transactions. I have previously used PayPal for purchases only. I haven't sold on PayPal until this time. I am using Swappa to sell things on PayPal through their website. I have sold several apple devices without any issue, no charge back, no dispute. After the first device was sold it was placed on hold however I was able to get my shipping costs back immediately after the label through online transfer. I have been using the same checking and debit/credit cards even after changing my account type and information. PayPal has no trouble charging my accounts or withdrawing money.

After the delivery, I had to wait for my funds to be released even though the PayPal policy says within one day of delivery. Multiple foreign non English call center representatives told me everything from 25 hours to I just have to wait and finally someone manually released these. I attempted to transfer them to my debit card (keep in mind these funds have already been held for 3-4 days at this point) and no surprise its held again for yet another review.

Let's skip ahead to selling 4 devices, no problem, no charge backs, no issues. Every time I receive funds they are held. Every time I attempt to make a transfer its delayed, even after being held. Now, my account is restricted. I have not received any charge backs or disputes. I have not had any negative history on PayPal. After submitting additional documentation, my funds have been held further, my account is still restricted. The third party marketplace where I place my devices for sale, Swappa, has removed my listings as my PayPal account has been restricted. I am not able to access my funds or transfer my money from my account.

I received no warning or advanced notice that my account would be unavailable. I am not able to get a clear answer as to why other than "PayPal takes my money and security very seriously"... Any advice? I have been without my funds for a while, I have been unable to conduct business on my 3rd party site, I have been unable to use my account and there is nothing I have done wrong. I would like to speak with someone in America who can address my concerns. I would like to be compensated for the lack of access to my funds, the loss of business, etc... this is not fair.

Advice appreciated.
