Husbands PayPal Account ripped off - Need help!

Hi, Husband got text from PayPal to ask if a purchase made on his account was his, it wasn’t and he answered so. They said they would open a fraud investigation. The transaction was in pending status in his bank account. Bank said they couldn’t do anything as it was in Paypal hands. So Paypal just notifies him 14 hours later the transaction is good & approved!!! It’s for purchases in another country, not him, he responded right away then they sent initial text. Fuming!!! We can’t afford to lose that money, he was never asked questions or anything at all!!

plan to dispute with PayPal, this is outrageous, any suggestions on how to proceed very welcome!

There are times you are not covered for unauthorised transactions eg when you click on a link and give away your account details / or its someone within your IP address etc, so your best bet is to go read up on it in paypals user agreement to see what they cover and what they do not.
