Hello. I disputed a claim I was confused with the parameters of the options provided for disputes. I clicked on the one that seemed applicable, "Not authorized". My reasoning for believing that this was the right route of action is because I contacted the merchant to cancel my order before the payment had been processed. As soon as I sent this email, the merchant processed the payment. At this time I was using the app and I didn't know that I could cancel the payment on my half. However my dispute was quickly denied on PayPal's part because technically I didn't click the right option. This doesn't change the fact that I have been scammed out of money. I need to open a dispute because I have been scammed even if the initial reasoning was the wrong option. How can I move this forward?
