Hi there,

I ve been  asked to send a product sold via gumtree after receiving a payment through Paypal. Is there a way I can be scammed ? Can a person get their money back through paypal?

That depends on many factors all listed in Paypals seller protection policy for you to read and then risk assess your transactions.

NEVER send anything unless the funds are SHOWING in your paypal account balance, even if pending they will still show in that balance.

Beware of scams that tell you otherwise.

So if the money is shown on my account it cannot be taken back and I am safe to send a product?
