This happened to me during Christmas shopping. I ordered three flannel shirts. Finally in January I contacted Patagonia to see where my order was. They looked up my order number and told me it wasn’t real and that I probably hit them scam website. So I reported it to PayPal telling them I never received anything. It took them a month to get back to me and they told me that the company reported that they sent me the product. So they close the case. So I talked with my credit card company, capital one, and they immediately refunded my money. I guess the only benefit to using PayPal is nobody get your credit card number. So I have to weigh whether it’s worth it or not.
Guys, after 20 messages and ridiculous AI replies, with the case closed three times, I have managed to find a way. Forget about Paypal communities and resolution center, just go on their page on Twitter, Papal, and AskPaypal and post your experience, you will be contacted by a real representative who will take care of it.
