The seller says he was a sydney australia seller. See attached screenshot of the still visible ad.

If he provides a sydney address I will return it. The cost of returning this to china from Tasmania is more than the refund.

No way now to bring this up in the resolution centre.

It's just plain fraud and ebay/paypal seems to ignore it.

Case PP-D-55597529 if someone at paypal wants to conatct me. I seem to have no effective way of contacting you.

Their location is listed as Sydney.

Where you'd give your right arm to live.

As per your instructions.

Perhaps you should wait until you can see the screenshot before pasting boilerplate at me?

Did as you said and I was correct !!!!!

I said all you have to do is click on FEEDBACK and you will see the SELLERS LOCATION.

So that is CHINA and NOT AUSTRALIA.

I was trying very hard to let this go.

Why should I have to click the feedback section when it says item location (a first class field) as Sydney and then AU SELLER all over the front of it?

It's plainly fraud.

My advice to you has been correct from the start so I will accept your apology.

I have given you loads of information that most folks would say thank you for.

Think I will try and avoid Australians in the future, very sad if you are representing them.

I would have thought the first thing a buyer would do before they bought an item from an Ebay seller is to CHECK THEIR FEEDBACK.

When you do that you clearly see their LOCATION.

What amazes me is not ''why should you'' but why on earth wouldn't you?

You're more interested in winning some pathetic argument with me than accepting the fact that the seller has clearly misrepresented their location. They say they're an AU Seller (they're not), the say the use Australia Post (they don't) and that the item location is in Sydney, Australia (it isn't).

But if I click into the site further, I'm supposed to discover they're in china. And you think this is ok?

I am not posting again. This is noise.

I am amazed you buy on Ebay without checking a sellers feedback and location !!!!!

And item location is not necessarily where the sellers location is !!!!!

Did you not know that companies all around the world have depots in many different countries?

Sadly I can only give you the information you require, I can't help if you don't want to use it and so get scammed.

"AU SELLER". They say they use Australia post as well. Also not the case.

Go away Karen.

I feel bad for the buyer. I’m not an eBay person so didn’t know that you should check feedback for the location. I would have believed that the item was in Australia based on the listing.
