Dispute Resolution Appeal

Afternoon,

 

Having paid for a holiday which then had to be cancelled due to the C-19 outbreak I have only received part of the monies paid. Having contacted the host through Airbnb they have said it is down to both Airbnb and PayPal. 

nothing has been forthcoming from Airbnb and having made a dispute through PayPal I received the followign statement

 

This decision was made because your billing dispute doesn't match our qualification for a billing dispute.

 

I appealed and asked the question on what the qualifying information was.  Needless to say I’ve heard nothing back from PayPal and so am seeking advice through the community as I can’t make another appeal and am 250+ out of pocket. 

ive tried to email and also through the dispute resolution centre and nothing and I owe money to the peeps that haven’t gone also.

Hope you're doing well!

The message you received shows that you filed an incorrect dispute. In your situation, the case should be opened as "Item/Service not Received". Once a case is closed, you will not have an option to reopen it in your resolution center. You will need to reach customer service to appeal the case.


Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages.
Use the phone option in the blue band at the top OR very bottom of page dependent on what country you are in.
Scroll down past the list of help questions and click on 'Call us' bottom of that page. Log in and get the code.

You may contact Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a personal message from their facebook or twitter pages.
