Please help.
Back in early February, I had made a purchase for clothes from a website. It turns out that it was based in China. I understand that due to the COVID 19, shipping has been quite a problem, and delays are understandable. However... there were a series of issues that led me to believe that this might be a fraudulent website.
1) I didn't receive an e-mail confirmation after I made the purchase - listing the items I purchased, the prices, confirmation number, etc.
2) I didn't receive an e-mail with the shipping information
3) After approximately a week, when I realized that I didn't receive any type of e-mails from them... I contacted them through the e-mail they had listed on the website... It turned out that it was a non-existing e-mail.
Therefore... I suspected it was a fraud. I made a dispute through Paypal towards the end of February. The company replied... but I continue to suspect them. After nearly 3 weeks, they had barely shipped "some" of the clothes I purchased. In the e-mail, they told me there were still items that were in their warehouse...
Nearly 2 months passed... about a week ago I received a single shirt (I had purchased 11 different types of clothing articles... shirts, sweaters, a coat) a total of 11 items... I only received 1 so far...
They contacted Paypal and told them that I received my item. Paypal closed the dispute and ruled in their favor.
I must admit that I feel more confident now that I received something from them. I do not really require a refund if I"ll receive the rest of the clothes... However... Considering that I still haven't received the rest of the clothes... and I don't even know if they have shipped them or what might be the status of my order...
I wanna know what I could do to keep the dispute being investigated. I tried opening a new dispute, but for some reason, I just keep getting an error and says to try again later.
I tried "messaging" an agent, but no one has answered.
Thanks for the help and appreciate any advice anyone could give me on how to handle this situation.
