Question has anyone heard of Dewalt Store Purchase. It looks like a Dewalt website and I did order some tools from them. After I got the paypal receipt I noticed that the payment was going to a Runxi <removed>. I am trying to figure out if this is a scam or he selling counterfeit tools from Dewalt.
Went to a dewalt site too. I should have thought twice about the prices, but didnt, and bought one. I received no tracking #, and when i emailed the seller, email address was not legit...got a bounce saying address not found. Now i am trying to get my money back, and hope PayPal can assist.

Good luck with that. I fell for the EXACT same thing on a bogus DeWalt website. The only reason why I purchased from them is that PayPal has a guarantee that you will get the merchandise. Opened a claim. A couple of weeks later the seller sent me a small envelope with USPS tracking. It had a piece of paper inside. PayPal closed the claim IN HIS FAVOR based on the evidence of a tracking number and receipt of the envelope. I have been trying to figure out how to reopen the claim but apparently this is not allowed. Can't even find a phone number to talk to someone in person. This is a sharp guy that figured out how the PayPal system works is exploiting a vulnerably and PayPal is doing ABSOLUTELY nothing to stop him. PayPal is, either intentionally or unintentionally giving this guy cover. I am going to see if I can reverse the charge at the bank but it is doubtful.
I also had the same situation. When my shipment didn't arrive I tried to contact the seller and no response. I opened a dispute with paypal and in a few days I received a small envelope with some stickers. I've been trying to contact Paypal but impossible to do. tried their messaging link, but not working. will try to contact my back to see if they can do anything.
Sorry to hear you had the same issue. As it turns out DeWalt has a warning on their legit website about the problem. I wish there was a way to contact PayPal and get someone to look into it. They let these crooks open a sellers account and are facilitating fraud. I hope it works out better for you. I have filed a complaint with Washington state Attorney General. PayPal is in California. I will file a complaint there also. I don't expect much from either. They are all on a paid corona vacation. Post something if you figure out a way to get a refund.
PayPal said they contacted seller and got a usps tracking number which I did receive and it had some stickers in it. The email PayPal sent me for seller is bogus keeps coming back non deliverable. Keep telling PayPal that the site is bogus the email is bogus but, they have not taken any action against the seller. They are using paypal to rip people off and it seems that paypal does not seem understand or possibly care. The return address on the USPS was Fan<removed>, <removed>, City of Industry CA 91744
I got a sheet of stickers from the same guy at the same address. I suspect he is providing a tracking number to PayPal to show proof of delivery. I ended up filing a complaint with the Washington State Attorney general. They said they would investigate the issue and put PayPal on a timeline to provide more information. I don't know what will happen if they just ignore the problem. I was surprised how fast they followed up.
