Declined a refund

Charges have been made to my account in total being around £280 , doing research these have been made to a minecraft server, I have not played that game for years. These purchases were not made by me and PayPal outright denied my unauthorised payment claim

Hi @TomPalmer1

@kernowlass does have a great suggestion. Make sure you cancel any recurring agreement you have with this merchant. The reason we deny claims like this is that we are unable to tell if there was unauthorized access as your PayPal account wasn't compromised. When you set up these recurring payments, you give this merchant the authority to charge you whenever. You would want to work with the merchant directly when it comes to discussing refunds for these transactions.

Thanks,

Drew
