Cannot withdraw funds - absolutely desperate

Hello all,

 

I’ve been trying for a week to get hold of PayPal customer service. I’ve sent multiple emails and had no reply, I’ve sent messages on their agent chat and had no reply, I've called and been advised of a 41 hour hold time which is frankly absurd.

i have never in my life felt so humiliated and degraded by a company. I am in an extremely dire financial situation and desperately need to withdraw my funds which I’ve gathered from selling old things on eBay.

 

When I try to withdraw (to my verified bank account) I am told that ‘There is a problem with my account’. I assume that this is in relation to a limitation they’ve put on my account. I’ve sent photo ID which they asked for, on top of that they’ve asked for ‘Supplier receipts’, I am not a business I a man just a man selling some old stuff on eBay so I don’t understand how they expect me to provide receipts.

 

please please somebody help me resolve this, I’m in a desperate situation and just can’t bear any more of this nonsense with their ‘customer service’.

Same here

I have money just paid into Paypal but when I ask for a transfer to a Tesco Credit Card or Santander current account I am told that these accounts do not accept transfers. I have no other accounts so how do I get money out of Paypal? Any advice appreciated

Hi @Bluesman23

 

I am sorry to hear that you are unable to complete a withdrawal to your card. There are some cards and processors that do not allow withdrawals to be initiated to it. Unfortunately, this is up to them and we cannot force the transfer to be completed. If you are having troubles exiting it to that card, I would suggest adding a different card, or a bank account to the account to transfer the balance.

We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with your PayPal account. If there is a limitation on the account, you would not be able to exit the balance until that concern has been resolved. If we are asking you to provide information, we would need a response in order to complete the review. If you are unable to provide the documents that we are requesting, please type up a detailed explanation as to why you are unable to provide that into a work document, save it as a PDF and then upload it through the request link. When you have done that, please keep an eye on your email and the specialist will reach out to you when they have a resolution or if there is further information needed from you.
