Bought an item, same day resolved an issue that meant bought item was no longer needed. Asked politely to cancel order, seller was happy to cancel the order. Premium Seller over 6K positive feedback. Selled asked me to confirm via ebay the cancellation. I confirmed the date and the refund.
I then waited for paypal to cancel the transaction and notify me. They so far haven't and my payment to paypal on the 23rd is still pending.
Order was late evening on the 9th and cancelled early morning unshipped on the 10th.
How long does it take for paypal to show the transaction as cancelled please?
Am sure in the past when an item was cancelled the whole process was automatic, even to receiving the cancellation email from paypal within a very short time. Am certain I never had to confirm the cancellation, provide the date and confirm receipt of the refund. Especially as the refund at this time is not to me but direct to paypal as they purchased the item on my behalf.
