Can not reach customer service

I ordered a replacement power adapter from a company in China.  I ordered model number A17-180p1a.  they sent model number adp-180mbf, claiming it was equivalent.  It does not fit my laptop.  I filed a complaint.  Paypal responded by saying that I was responsible for paying return shipping back to China.  I also contacted seller directly, they told me that they would take it back, but I was responsible for returning shipping.  In addition, they told me to falsify the customer declaration.  Again I tried to contact paypal, but I only get automated responses.  any help would be appreciated.

Hi @bobinator,

 

I'm sorry to hear that you received an item that was not as described. The PayPal dispute process will require return of the item. There is a program that can assist with the costs of returning the item, however. Please make sure that you complete the registration for that program prior to returning the item, but return the item before the deadline in the claim. If the dispute closes without your action, it can't be reopened, and I definitely want things to work out for you!
