My paypal account was limited randomly out of no where over a year ago now. Paypal sent me an email telling me I could withdraw my funds. However the bank I originally had on no longer is on the paypal for some reason.

I attempted to add a new bank account to withdraw my funds. But no such luck.. I rang them up and they told me to "try again" I did and it didn't work on the phone the girl goes "this is very strange I'll forward it on so you can withdraw your funds you should receive an email"

After 2 weeks no email, I ring back and get a guy this time called conor who basically seems as helpful as a fish out of water. He said he isn't sure why it's happening and there is nothing I can do. He then recommends I take legal advice? I asked to be passed on to someone else but he claims to be the highest there.

I contacted paypal by email and after a month or so got a message saying it had been fixed I could add my account and withdraw and a huge apology blah blah.

Again I tried to add my bank to withdraw and still can Not.

On the phone they just pass me back and forth between employees and tell me "Ok we sent an email to a specialist team who will fix this"

But nothing is getting done.  It would be nice if someone at paypal actually looked at this logged into their system and fixed my error so I can withdraw my funds.

If customer services can't help you then sorry but posting on here is not going to affect that at all.

Why not ask them to send you a cheque in the post?

Well it is more to make people aware of the illegal activity that paypal are doing. I have contacted a solicitor and we are taking the appropriate actions. They told me they can not send by cheque. And they are legally held to send the money in. But other people should know the type of activity and customer service they provide. it's not a matter of if they can't help. It is a matter of they are not helping or replying. So it's either Lazy workers. or paypal enjoy scamming.
