Account limitations

Hi there,

I recently was able to lift the account limitations on my account. a few days ago i got an email saying that the limitations where lifted and that i was able to freely use paypal gain. however the limitations are still here. i am unable to get in contact with paypal about this issue. any help would be appreciated.

Paypal phones are mostly non operational since covid but sometimes you get lucky. (use the guest option if you can't log in).
If there is one available it will show when you click help / contact bottom left of Paypal pages for options available in your country.
Live chat is randomly available.
You can send them a message.
Or
have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?

Hi! I am trying to verify my PayPal account. I followed the guidelines and I am at the point where a certain 4-digit code is supposed to appear on my card statement so that I could input it and go on. I have checked my bank statement but I haven't been able to find the said code. Yes, Pay Pal sent me a notification that the code has been sent. Please, does anyone, by any chance know which card statement Pay Pal means? My bank statement? Or my Pay Pal account dashboard?

You can't add a local bank account / debit card in your country.
You can only link a credit card.

So allow up to a week for it to show on your online card account / statement.

Also the option to receive paypal payments is sadly not available in Nigeria.
You can only send payments for purchases funded by your (confirmed) credit card.

Paypal varies a lot country to country and can only offer the services that the banks / governments of that country allow it to offer.
There are quite a few countries unable to receive paypal payments.
