Account Limitations

Hi. I just sold an old phone using Swappa, and now PayPal is asking for all kinds of documentation to get my money. They are asking for proof of ID, shipping info (I provided), and a receipt from my supplier. I can't seem to get any help with this, just automated responses taking me in circles. It is my old personal phone, and I no longer have a receipt from when it was purchased. Our whole family upgrade to new phones, and I have two more to sell. I don't want to sell them if I can't get the money. Am I doing something wrong? How in the world do I resolve this?

Hi @brown1213 thank you for reaching out to PayPal Community Forum. Payment on hold normally happens if you just started selling online, you received money higher than usual amount,or if it's a dormant account then all of a sudden you received money from other PayPal customer.
