Hi Everybody!

Unfortunately, we cannot take any direct action on accounts through contacts on this platform. I urge you to continue to be patient in this case, since you have sent a birth certificate and a government issue letter, this would replace the request for the photo ID. If this is the only request you received in the Resolution Centre case and there is no other open issues, it should be resolved quite soon. You will receive updates on documents reviewed in the Resolution and Message Centres. Please note you can call our Customer Support by using a text relay service like http://ngts.org.uk/.

 

All email correspondence goes though the Message Centre in the Help section of your account.

Martin i have sent in birth cert and letter and all that happens is i wait a week and it is rejected and followed by an email saying they only accept photo id and it is highlighted in yellow. I reply and i get no response.

 

I have contacted Paypal through the message centre hundreds of times now and not once has an actual human replied. 

 

I have had 7 responses and each one is exactly the same, an automated script asking me to call a number.Useless.

 

What is the number to call that accepts the relay service then? Because its not the number that they keep giving me, that is for sure.

Hi @deafg,

 

If you have sent the documents numerous times and each time they have not bee accepted. Once the Birth certificate is a complete document and legible we can accept it. If you have sent a government issued letter it must be issued in the last 12 months. It must clearly state the agency it has been sent from and has your full name and address printed on it. You could also provide a Bank statement with the same information , instead of the government issued document.

You can call our 0800 358 7911, using the text relay service. The text relay service supplies a relay assistant to converse on your behalf.  The relay assistant stays on the line throughout your call, or as long as they're needed. They relay the conversation by speaking your words to the other person and typing their words to you.
