Card Reader cannot be seen

So I went to check the status of my card reader lastnight and it did need charging.  Initially I managed to pair it with the app on an Android phone which was good.  However I left it for an hour or so to completely charge then when I went back to re-connect it it simply would not work.

 

I've done everything that documented on this forum such as powering off and on, removing and re-installing the app, restarting everything and as a last resort the factory reset.

 

I now have a card reader which is sitting with a quickly blinking blue LED (pairing) which cannot be seen by any other device with scanning bluetooth devices.

 

I do not know what else I can try and I must have the reader up and running before the end of this week.

Edit:  Just to add I spent 25 minutes waiting on the phone before giving up!

Thanks for reaching out, this sounds frustrating.

 

Have you managed to pair the reader? When was the last time you successfully paired the reader? Can I also ask if you have the latest software updated on your phone?
