Can anyone tell me why on payment from a buyer is showing a red flag against it? When I hover over it it comes up as 'Risk Alert!' Searched all through 'Help' and it didn't lol! Hope someone here can point me in the right direction. Hope it is nothing serious as I have posted the purchase today before I saw this alert on PayPal.
Thanks for the reply, I found one post on the forum from 2009 about this and there were no replies to it then! I do so wish PayPal would get their act together, the 'Help' just doesn't for many questions, and I refuse to use non-free phone services on principle.
I hope my transaction goes through OK, I did not find the flag until after posting earlier in the day, or I would have used recorded as well.
I agree with you, please can a moderator give us an answer?
Three of the payments I received tonight were flagged with risk alerts. There doesn't seem to a common thread between the three buyers. All three have confirmed addresses, two of the three are verified, all three have 100% feedback on ebay, two of them had less then 20 transactions under their belt but both of them have been registered users since 06 and 08 with the same user id. Fluke????
I'm hoping it is just a glitch, it seems to take ages to log in to PayPal for me at the moment, the puzzling thing is that I have only the one red flag and eight transactions since have gone through as they should, no red flags.
I do wish a moderator would wake up and explain what the heck is going on - seems they are happy to take our money, but not to give us answers when we need them!
Seriously weird, I've only got the one flagged up - all the others are OK. Fingers crossed because I have posted it already, but why is there nothing in the help topics - and where are the PayPal moderators?
Hi I am having the same issue with the red flag for all my payments this morning, however i am also noticing my pay pal balance is not going up. I have clicked on item details and it says it is safe to post, but i am not sure if i should as i have had 6 payemnts come in but its not credited to paypal balance as yet.
we too have had loads of these reg flag warings. most are from our regular buyers and have no idea what they mean. think paypal need to sort out this problem and let people know what they really mean!!
It seems the situation is not improving, can we shout now - MODERATORS, PLEASE EXPLAIN - after all, they take our money and do not give enough 'help' or reply to problems 😞
