Is this allowed?

Also Im finding it hard to find terms and conditions on PP in relation to this matter!

I have messaged her (for her own safety) and she replied saying its perfectly legal!

TIA

Hi there mumoffive77,

I am not 100% sure what the questions is. Payments that are sent as a gift are not covered under our buyer protection policy and are only recommended when sending money to friends or family.

To learn more about PayPal Buyer Protection and to see the full eligibility requirements, click ‘Legal Agreements’ at the bottom of any PayPal page, and then click ‘PayPal User Agreement.’

I think the Question is the same one Im trying to Find an answer to! Is doing a Raffle on Facebook and saying the tickets are to be paid by Gift allowed??

Im pretty sure it's not, I know of a few people who have been reported for it, and accounts closed down....So I would also like to know how you report it

Hi brianandamy,

Welcome to the PayPal communitu forum Smiley Happy

I would suggest that you follow the report options on facebook to report any users that you feel may not be following the correct  guidelines. Paymemt for raffles tickets should not be sent as a gift payment.

I do hope this helps

Paula
