Hello paypal community
I want to buy a console from a seller on gumtree, and he takes paypal/bank transfer/cash collection
he lives far from me so he suggested that we use paypal for the transaction. What is the proccess of sending the money for goods on here and getting my item 100% without him running with my money? What makes paypal safe to send money on and not a bank transfer? is there a middle man scenario where paypal don't let him recieve the funds until I get my item or? Please let me know ASAP.

You need to read up on buyer protection in the user agreement so you can risk assess your own transactions.
