How soon do payments for items bought on Ebay show up on A/c

Just bought a small item on Ebay and paid by Paypal.  Not had a confirmation yet from seller that I bought item, npr Paypal saying I have bought.  Normally I always get email from seller and Paypal straight away but after 15 mins - Nothing.  It's like I never bought anything.

Does this sometimes happen to other users?  Thanks

Yes sometimes it takes a while to get the emails.

But log into your paypal account and see if the transaction is showing as completed in there.
