I tried to buy an item on eBay. I went to Proceed checkout, then continue, and when I click on continue it gives me an error code. It says "Your request could not be processed at this time." Help?

Some thoughts from others.

It possible it may have something to with special characters sellers use in the item title.  If there are some unusual or special character(s) in the item title, ask them to remove it or them.  Then retry.

You may also want to try deleting your web browser's cookies, temp files and history.  Then close your web browser, reopen it and retry.

Here is a *possible* solution I am trying now.  I propose that you have the seller manually send you a Paypal invoice (charge) to your email address.  To do this, however, they need your email address.  Ebay, however, blocks you from sending the seller a message with your email address, so I am trying this workaround.  Let's imaging my email is "helloworld[at]hotmail.com."  Assuming that were my email, my message looked like this:

"Dear [Seller],

The website still is not working. Can you please send a manual invoice through Paypal, to my email address? My HOTMAIL email is helloworld."

Give that a shot and see what happens. Perhaps it will work.  I am seeing now.
