Credit card statement

Hi

I am wondering, if I pay for a product using paypal, will the product name or company name show on my credit card's statement or will it just show Paypal?

What? Nobody is using paypal to buy stuff???

Welcome to the boards!

When paying via card, the charge will appear with PayPal in front of it, and then an ID specific to the merchant.  The default setting for a merchant is a truncated version of their business name or email address; larger merchants often edit this to help their buyers track purchases and prevent unnecessary disputes.

what i dont get is i have just confirmed my credit card to my pay pal account but i cant find where to add funds?? so i can purchase on ebay do i just buy it then it automatically comes off my credit card

Welcome to the boards!

That's correct; there's no need to add funds if you have a card on file.  Just make the purchase, and we'll charge the card directly.
