Accidentally used wrong card to pay with : /

Hi all im wondering if you could help me?

I made a purchase using paypal yesterday to buy some clothes from a website, the only trouble is i accidentally chose the wrong debit card to pay with, and the account belonging to that card had not enough funds in.

I realised what must have happened when the payment was not received right away by the merchant and it said 'pending' in my paypal transaction history. So i have transfered the funds needed for the payment to that bank account. I also contacted the merchant explaining that i may have used the wrong debit card/ bank account and i am waiting to hear back from them

Does anyone know what will happen now or if i need to do anything, has anyone else made this mistake and could tell me what may happen?

I did the same thing but I want to pay with my active card now instead of waiting. When it comes back as failed will it still try and charge my account?

Hello,

Today, I have paid for mobile phone 148,99$, via PAYPAL, but i used wrong Visa Credit card A -which is not registered on PAYPAL , instead of my registered VISA card on paypal B.

However, when i look to my bank account for card A , i can see there was a reservation made on that amount of 148,99$.

Will this payment (reservaton) be realised, or not??

And if not, when will this money be given back to me (to my bank A).

I have enough money on account A, and i have got nothing against ty pay with my not registered card, but i just wanted to know becuse it is urgent for me.
How come, i have not been warned, i am using the wrong card?

Can i pay with not registered card  in future?

Is there any paypal administrator who could answer my question?

I send the question also to paypal helpdesk on their e-mail, but i havent got answer from them (i just got auto-return message they will answer me in 24h).

Is there anyone alive here ?

This is a user to user forum. 

Even PayPal staff can't view your account and would advise you to contact them directly. 

However if you paid with the wrong card ask the seller to refund the payment so you can re-pay with the correct one.

i contacted the paypal service over skype...

They confirmed, that transaction went through.

It seems, you can pay with card which is not registered on paypal.
