I am trying to create a shipping label for an item I sold. I want to send it via regular Priority using my own box. When I go to create a shipping label, I select "Package/Thick Envelope" from the Package Type drop-down list. I enter the package weight (1 lb, 6 oz) and dimensions (7.2 x 7.2 x 6.5). I leave the other choices to their default settings. I click on 'Calculate Shipping Cost' button. The button goes gray and nothing happens. If I change the package type to any of the flat rate packages, it calculates. If I choose 'Priority Express' from the Service type box and 'Package/Thick Envelope' from the package type, it calculates. It just won't let me calculate for using my own package with Priority service. I gave up and used the USPS site to create the label. Does anyone know how to correct this for future shipments?
