How does a company send me a bill to be paid?

In the past when I purchased a camera from a seller who did not have PayPal, I was able to have them send a bill directly to PayPal for me so I could get the 6-month same as cash. I can't remember how that was done. Can someone please help me? I have a camera lens at a company that needs major repairs and I want to use the 6-month program again. HELP!

The 6-month same as cash deal is via PayPal Credit aka billmelater. If the seller accepts PayPal, they can send you a PayPal invoice or if they have a PayPal checkout integrated online shop and when you pay with PayPal  if PayPal Credit is offered to you as a payment method during checkout with 6-month same as cash deal or other promotion, then by all means use it. But note that PayPal reserves the right to restrict use of the credit line depending on the circumstances of your purchase and may not be offered at checkout in which case, its recommend that you use another of your linked funding sources to complete payment at this time. On a rare occasion, PayPal may use a linked funding source after you completed checkout with PayPal Credit so ensure you have enough funds cover the purchase with any of your linked funding sources before attempting the purchase.

That doesn't answer my question. You state "If the seller accepts PayPal, they can send you a PayPal invoice." but you don't tell me where I would find a PayPal invoice for them to complete and after I receive a PayPal Invoice, what do I do with it? And how do they send me a PayPal invoice? They told me they would do it, but they didn't tell me anything other than that. So, for future use, I would like to know how this is done.
