Let me know if you're interested in participating in a possible CAL against BML and its deceptive marketing practices. Remember, there is strength in numbers. Thanks.

Count me in. Bill me later is a ripoff. I did not even realize I was being charged for bill me later until I got hit with a $300 dollar bill for a one time purchase of $38.00 dollars which I thought I charged to my paypal account.

I dont neccessarily want to sue, but I DO want this crap gone! I too signed up because of some silly promotion and now it is set as my default payment source and all my websites that use paypal charge to this darn thing!! I have never gotten a late fee in my LIFE until this BML!! If a lawsuit is what it takes to get rid of this product, I'm in!!! I have tried several different times to try to find how to remove as default payment source... no joy. tried logging into bml directly and i guess i dont really have an accout? if i signed up at paypal why cant I change it there? I have to have a seperate login that I dont know?

What I did a few weeks ago was call Paypal and then I let them know I am having problems with Bill Me Later. You'll be surprised how quickly they'd want to transfer you to Bill Me Later. Bill Me Later didn't have problems sending me back to Paypal because all they have to say is "You have to pay your bill."
Back to Paypal, they can quickly take Bill Me Later off as a payment option and they told me they can completely unlink Bill Me Later from my account, which they did. A couple of logins later Bill Me Later is back as a payment option, I guess after I sent in a payment to my Bill Me Later account. However it's never my primary payment source now.

I wish to join a CALS against BillMeLater.
I have used the BillMeLater service only once intentionally and found it unsatisfactory.
Since that Time I have not intentionally used the service, however, through unscrupulous means, BillMeLater has hijacked my eBay purchases without my knowledge and refused payment prior to the accrual of interest. I do not wish to do business with BillMeLater in the future be it purposefully or by accident.
I am now struggling to cancel my BML service.
Thanks,
Dustin Schrimpsher

We were just scammed by BillMeLater. Their phone rep openly admitted that that is how they make their money.

I should tell you more. I am definitely in for the lawsuit.
When we tried to pay for items through Paypal it went to a billmelater page (which we didn't choose or want) and PayPals site gave us NO option for getting off of that BillMeLater pop-up page. We weren't sure if they insisted on billing us later or what - but figured either way they'd get us the bill and we would pay it. Apparently their BillMeLater scam works wonderfully and shoots an email bill straight to our SPAM folder - which of course we do not check and now we have an ridiculous late fee for non-payment. We spoke to a BML representative who acknowledged that "yes, that is how they make their money!" I thought it very interesting how they don't bother to hide that scam. I wrote Paypal saying that they should be ashamed to be in business with them and that I hoped this was something that they were simply not aware was happening. My wife went ahead and paid the scam of a late fee and we are extremely upset and will continue to pursue options to remedy and/or expose this scam.
