I should tell you more.  I am definitely in for the lawsuit. When we tried to pay for items through Paypal it went to a billmelater page (which we didn't choose or want) and PayPals site gave us NO option for getting off of that BillMeLater  pop-up page.  We weren't sure if they insisted on billing us later or what - but figured either way they'd get us the bill and we would pay it.  Apparently their BillMeLater scam works wonderfully and shoots an email bill straight to our SPAM folder - which of course we do not check and now we have an ridiculous late fee for non-payment.  We spoke to a BML representative who acknowledged that "yes, that is how they make their money!"  I thought it very interesting how they don't bother to hide that scam.  I wrote Paypal saying that they should be ashamed to be in business with them and that I hoped this was something that they were simply not aware was happening.  My wife went ahead and paid the scam of a late fee and we are extremely upset and will continue to pursue options to remedy and/or expose this scam.  ... We were just scammed by BillMeLater.  Their phone rep openly admitted that that is how they make their money. ... View more

I agree with the class action lawsuit.  I just posted a similar response seconds ago.  If you lead the way or know someone who can - I will be on board with it.  We got off the phone with a BML rep who admitted that is how they make their money. ... View more

This is VERY bad business.  We need to collectively see if we can make a class-action lawsuit against this company.  We fell victim the same way as many other users.  First we tried to PAY right on the spot for items via PayPal as we always have and we were led to a BillMeLater screen that we did NOT choose to go to - with no way of exiting (i.e. not opting) for the BillMeLater choice.  Basically you're stuck on the BML screen waiting for another option that never comes.  Like the scam is apparently set up to force us to do - we click the BML box feeling that we will just have to pay that way since there is NO OTHER OPTION and wait for the bill.  Time passes and we later recieve a LATE CHARGE for non-payment.  It turns out our payment invoice does come via email but goes straight to our SPAM folder - which we never check!! We speak to a BML representative who gives us the run-around and ADMITS on the phone that it IS a scam - agreeing that is how they make their money! I have sent PayPal a notice of this and and waiting to see how they respond now.  After reading all of these posts, I imagine that they will do nothing.  We'll have to wait and see. ... View more
