Yesterday, I transferred some money that I had in my paypal account into my checking account. I did read that this process could take 3-5 days, but if that were the case, how come my paypal says the money transfer has been completed but there is no sign of a deposit into my bank account.? Now my money, which I currently need desperately, is not accessible in my paypal account or in my bank account, but floating around somewhere in cyberspace. What's the deal?!
PayPal marks the status as complete once we have deducted the funds out of your balance and initiated the withdrawal process to your bank - since we don't receive a note back from your bank if they accept it, this is essentially the last step where PayPal is directly involved.
