Paypal says my bank doesn't exist.

I'm trying to set up a paypal account linked with my checking account. I know the routing number of my bank (US bank btw), but Paypal says the number is not recognized as valid. I am certain that the number is correct, can anyone please tell me how to proceed?

Are you getting the routing number from your check or your statement? Sometimes the numbers differ. The routing number that would be needed here is the one on your check.
