Does Paypal Eventually Remove Credit Card Verification Holds

Hi, I originally wanted to add a credit card for use on Paypal. Now I changed my mind and decided to remove my card from my account. I haven't received the confirmation email and I was just wondering if Paypal will eventually remove the $1 pending hold that was charged on my prepaid card since I have no intention of verifying it anymore. Thanks

Yes, They will.  Sometimes it's the card holder, esp. if it's a prepaid card.

Sorry for the late reply, Card Holders can take up to 2 weeks to release a hold.

For example, you may notice, you go to the Gas Station, Pump $30/gas, come home and look at your statement, it says $50(GasStation)Autorization Hold or similar, the $20 is just a hold. I don't know why they do that, but i'm sure your case is the same thing.  If it don't release in 2 weeks, call your card holder.
