wrong email address

hi i have had a pyment made to my account but the man says it has gone out his bank so can not cancel the payment and i cant get the payment as its asking me to log into my email but the email on here is wrong so i cant?? so how do i get my payment??

Go and find the transaction in your “my ebay” > click to the right where it says sell similar > don't fill in anything just scroll down to the payments section > look in the paypal box > is the email addy in there correct with no spelling mistakes? If so then it would have been wrong on your finished auctions so come back for more advice.

it is asking me to verifie my email address but i cant as the email that is with paypal is not the right email as the one i have so can not verifie it? what can i do thanks

You can have up to 8 email addys on the one paypal account, so try going to your profile tab and adding another email addy, confirm it and the money should come with it.

hi i have added my proper email address now but still nothing and on ebay it says payment pending could this be why it is not showing on my paypal account yet?as it is the 1st time i have recieved money on paypal will it take a while to go through?

also there is no option on paypal for me to accept the payment it is not even showing up on there?

Hi claireriley,

kernowlass is right.

If the payment is not showing in your PayPal account, it may have been sent to the wrong or an old email address.

Your email address on PayPal is much like your account number.

Check what email address is associated with your eBay account, add and confirm that email to your PayPal account and the payment should then be posted to your balance.

If you no longer have access to this email address, I would recommend asking your buyer to try and cancel the payment and send it again to the correct email.
