A question I received from reema jassal
"hi, i'm heading a graduation ball committee and thought that maybe paypal would be the best option to recieve and process payments for grad ball tickets. we haven't got a website, but how would we go about setting up a paypal account for our graduation ball?"

Hey there reema jassal,
Before using PayPal to sell tickets for any event there are somethings you have to bear in mind. I'll outline them for you and you can then make a judgement on how is best to proceed.
- There is the possibility when selling tickets for an event that the funds could be held until the event has taken place.
- The reason for this is that buyers (in this case the people purchasing the tickets) have only 45 days to open a dispute on there transaction. If the event was beyond 45 days then they may find themselves without coverage.
- Under our Seller Protection Policy we do not offer coverage for the Seller for "Items that you deliver (or are picked up) in person"
Hopefully this has given you some information on the sale of tickets and how best to proceed.
