Transfer without an account?

Can someone transfer money to me if they don't have a paypal account?

Welcome to the Community Forum.

If you have a business it is possible for some people to pay you without having a PayPal account. 

If you are using our Website Payments Standard or Websites Payments Pro features, you can accepted payments from people not logged into a PayPal account. 

Your customers can buy what they want from you first, and then decide whether to save their information in a PayPal account for the future.

If you have a website your customer can click a PayPal payment button and complete a payment form. On the next page, they see a summary of their order and they can review and submit their purchase. After the transaction is complete, you and your customer receive a confirmation email.

To turn this feature on:

1. Go to http://www.paypal.co.uk/ and log in to your Business account.
2. Click ‘Profile’ near the top of the page.
3. Click 'My selling preferences'.
4. Click 'Update' beside 'Website preferences'.
5. Select ‘On’ under ‘PayPal Account Optional’ near the bottom of the page.
6. Click ‘Save’.
