Transaction not showing

I sent a payment as a gift to a friend of mine today at 5pm, but it is not showing on my transaction history and my friend has not received the payment yet. I did received my confirmation phonecall that I had to enter the security code in.

Hi Ajek1974,
Did you receive any error messages when completing your payment ?. If not and you are still unable to locate your payment on your PayPal account you may want to check firstly with your card issuer to ensure that your payment was requested from your card. If the payment was not requested from your card it may be that your payment did not complete successfully and you may need to send it again.
Also, if the payment has been requested from your card and you are unable to view it on your PayPal account it may be that you paid using a PayPal guest account and not your own PayPal account. This can happen when you initiate to send funds or pay for an item using PayPal but dont log on to your own PayPal account. Instead you are prompted to enter your details before sending payment.
