Sending money to friend in Africa

I'd like to send some money to a friend in Africa (from the UK) - but being a complete newbie at this I'm having trouble finding the cheapest way of doing this.

I'm hoping PAYPAL is the answer - what are the costs, say compared to using somehting like Western Union?

I got a bit lost in the help files...what with currency conversion rate etc

Basically if I want to send £100 to Uganda....how much would the 'extras' cost?

Hey there,

At this time Ugandan PayPal accounts cannot receive funds and can only send money so you will be unable to use PayPal to send money to your friend in Uganda.
