Scam Email regarding payment to Skype Inc

Paypal users please beware of a scam Email regarding payments to Skype Inc.  I have just received an Email supposedly from Paypal regarding payment for 3 months subscriptin to Skype Inc.  The Email states that if you have not authorised this payment then please click on "cancel payment" button.

Please ignore this Email as I do not believe this is from Paypal as it does not state my name, ebay membership or Email address as the recipient - it simply welcomes the Paypal Client.

Also when I clicked on cancel payment it redirected me to another site which I immediately closed without entering any personal details.

Thanks Pam

report this to pay pal by forwarding to spoof@paypal.co.uk. Also they ask for fullbank details including pin number and card number and number on the back so what does that tell you?

Just got one in a few minutes ago.  Comes from the domain of webxc19s03.ad.aruba.it       Most Antivirus programs will auto block the site so you can't even get to it which is  good.

I've searched high and low and can't find anywhere on the site to report this to.

I got a series of emails on this - I ignored them then got one saying that the payment had been processed so I checked on Paypal and  with my bank and clearly no money has gone to them.

I reported it by forwarding the email to spoof@paypal.com  following the instructions on this site.

I've just received this scam e-mail too and started to go thru the steps to cancel the payment.  When the form started to request Mother's maiden name, card security code etc. the penny dropped.  It's clever and nearly had me!  Beware.
