Paypal users please beware of a scam Email regarding payments to Skype Inc. I have just received an Email supposedly from Paypal regarding payment for 3 months subscriptin to Skype Inc. The Email states that if you have not authorised this payment then please click on "cancel payment" button.
Please ignore this Email as I do not believe this is from Paypal as it does not state my name, ebay membership or Email address as the recipient - it simply welcomes the Paypal Client.
Also when I clicked on cancel payment it redirected me to another site which I immediately closed without entering any personal details.
Thanks Pam

I have today receive an email supposedly from PayPal advising me and about 100 other email addressesof a receipt for my payment to Skype 54.99. I have forwarded to spoof@paypal.co.ukand await their response. Having said that I have sent a previous email to the to query it and never for a response. They payment is not showing up in my recent transactions so hopefully will not go through. I have emptied my PayPal account just in case.

WARNING!!!
I've had it twice in 2 days.
Sellers be aware.
I have car for sale worth quite a lot of money. Both were trying to convince me they will buy a car without viewing it at all.
They were really pushy to pay the money asap through PayPal.
Than I recieved e-mail from PayPal (apparently) saying that the payment has been made but is on hold and all i need to do to get the money is to pay the shipping fee.
I have checked my PayPal account and there was no sign of any money being paid at all.
They were also e-mailing me as the "shipping company" to get my adress to come and pick up the car as the" payment has been already made".

I also received this email this morning. When i clicked the link my pc security stopped me going further, saying it was an unsafe website...
but I still panicked a little and checked my Paypal account...nothing there.
This is the first time I have visited the forum, but was glad I did as I was relieved to see that I was not the only one.
