I have recently sold a couple of items through ebay and made the mistake of not noticing that my old email address was used on the advert. This meant that when the buyers tried to make payment it did not happen and got stuck as a pending payment. As per a previous topic on this forum I re-invoiced each of them myself through paypal and received payment. One of the buyers has contacted me to say they have had the money taken from their account twice, once for the initial payment and once for the new invoice I raised. Only one of these payments has registered on my account and they are now asking for a refund of one of them. How do I resolve this as I havent received two payments?
If your buyer made the first payment using their bank account this will still leave the bank account and just clear into their own PayPal account as it has been cancelled.
The funds take 5-7 working days credit into the PayPal account balance so your buyer may not be seeing them as of yet.
