Hey Dsfreelove,

It sounds to me that you are getting annoyed about not being able to send a payment, ill try and help you now.

If you are trying to send a payment from your PayPal account, you will need to have a PayPal balance or else the payment will be processed from a credit/debit card or bank account. If you do not have any funds in your PayPal balance, that will be why you are being asked for a card number before you can send the payment.

If you have only opened your PayPal account recently, I would not think that you have reached your annual sending limit yet on your PayPal account. For more information on this, you should click the 'View Limits' icon on your Account Overview page.

I have looked at green dot cards there and they seem to be like a prepay debit card. The way for you to use this as a funding option on your PayPal account would be by registering your card information with us.

When you are logged in to your PayPal account, you can click the 'Profile' icon over on the right when you are on the Account Overview page. From here, if you then click on the 'Credit/Debit Cards' link. When you are on the next page, you can simply click the 'Add Card' link in order to register your prepay card with us.

I hope this information helps Smiley Happy

David.
