Paypal reversal

Hi  I sold an item on Ebay and received payment by paypal but the payment was immediately reversed to the sender.  The buyer is adament that the payment has gone through her paypal account but mine is showing that it has been refunded.  She is now asking me to send her item out to her but I don't know where the payment is!  Can you please help me explain to the buyer that the payment hasn't gone through.  Many thanks Donna

Sounds as if the buyers funding source failed.

Tell her to look at the transaction in her paypal account and what does it say by it?

If it does not say completed then the transaction has not gone through.

Also don't send the item, if she files a dispute for non receipt and she has not paid that will fail as well.
