Hi I recently sold some items on ebay and my buyers have used paypal to pay me. When I looked at the transactions on my paypal account, it looks like I have been charged a fee to receive the payments?? WHy is this? I have not noticed this before? Can anyone explain? Thanks

You pay ebay to advertise and sell your items.
You pay paypal to be able to receive all card-funded payments from buyers.
Paypal are not a "free/charity" service I'm afraid.
But if you could not receive card funded payments via paypal it is doubtful many buyers would bother to buy as they would have no paypal buyer protection.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
