PLEASE HELP - PAYPAL REQUESTING I PAY CUSTOMS FEES AND TERMINAL PAYMENTS

Hi,

I sold a camera, the user wanted it shipped to Nigeria.

Paypal have emailed me a few times saying they are holding my funds until I pay the customs charges and terminal fees.

Customs charges are £150 and terminal fees are £200+. The buyer has appaerently sent this to my paypal, where it is being held until i pay these fees.

It sounds like a scam to me so can someone clarify what i should do and has anyone ever heard of this before?

These sounds like spoof emails so do not send the item unless you can see the payment sitting in your PayPal balance.

I would suggest forwarding these emails to spoof@paypal.com.
